Gualo Rai, Saipan (June 12, 2020) – DOCOMO PACIFIC, regional leader in innovation, telecommunications, & entertainment, donates $2,500 to the Flame Tree Arts Festival.
The Flame Tree Arts Festival is one of Saipan’s largest public annual events, attracting many off-island visitors. The event features many local talented singers, designers, performers, all showcasing Saipan’s deep culture.
On behalf of all our artists, we would like to thank DOCOMO PACIFIC for their continued support and partnership. There are many expenses for putting this festival together and this donation will definitely assist us in meeting our goals. The donation will help our artists broaden their discipline and expose their talent while preserving, promoting, and perpetuating our Indigenous and diverse cultures in the CNMI.Parker Yobei, Director, Community and Culture Affairs
Our position in committing to continue our support to the local event was decided post COVID and its our way of saying that we remain committed to our people, our community, and most especially, bringing people closer to the things that matter most. Although this event has been postponed until further notice, we remain fully committed to keeping our promise to being here to help.
